#GivingTuesday 2020

GivingTuesday is a global day of giving that was created in 2012 and has grown in momentum every year. People all over the world are encouraged to do good and to support causes that are important to them. Nonprofits like ours often focus on raising money during GivingTuesday.

2020 has been so different. 2020 has been so challenging - especially for our educators who have each played a crucial role in the efforts to continue providing our students with the education they need and deserve.

To our educators - the entire staff of USD266: We see you. You have worked tirelessly and relentlessly to be what our students need each day.

#GivingTuesday2020 is a chance for our community to say thank you and to appreciate you for everything you do - especially this year. To do that, we have planned some small gestures of appreciation for all of you during the month of November. 

Thank you again for everything you do - every day - to help our students find success.

• November 10-12: Visit Andy’s Frozen Custard at 10788 W 21st Street, present your employee ID and receive a free treat (limit one visit employee).

• November 18: Visit Compass Nutrition at 2360 N Maize Road #200, present your employee ID and receive 1/2 off a regular-sized Boosted Combo.

• November 23-December 31: Visit Chick N Max at 3520 N Maize Road, present your employee ID and receive 10% off every order through the end of December.

• Any Date/Ongoing: All Maize School District employees will receive a voucher for a Free Basic Wash to Charlie’s Car Wash. This gift made possible with special support from MSHS Booster Club, MHS Booster Club, MMS PTO, MSMS PTO, VES PTO, MCE PTO, PWS PTO, and ECC PTO.

• Any Date/Ongoing: All Maize School District employees will receive a gift card for a Free Chicken Sandwich at Chick fil-A at 10515 W 21st St.
