project lead the way
A shared grant of $21,276 will help our two new intermediate schools welcome 5th and 6th graders with innovative hands on learning in their first year.
STOP EVERYTHING AND STEAM!
With the help of a $11,634 Challenge Grant, the students of Maize Elementary School break from their usual schedule for a monthly day of STEAM activities.
chsm general store
Congratulations to the Complete High School Maize General Store for opening in the Reflection Ridge Retirement Community. Supported in part by a grant from the Maize Education Foundation, the store is providing an opportunity for students to complete contracts while learning some valuable life lessons.
elevate yourself
Lila Collins was a 7th grader at Maize Middle School when she applied for and was awarded a $500 Student Enrichment Grant called “Elevate Yourself.”
trauma-informed schools
Maize elementary students will receive extra sensory and emotional support while giving them an outlet that helps reduce time spent out of the classroom.
Lego robotics club
Students at Maize Virtual Preparatory School had a year-long opportunity to work hands-on with special Lego Robotics kits - learning coding, collaboration and more!.
social emotional launch
Counselors received additional social emotional resources for the new Maize Intermediate School and Maize South Intermediate School for a new launch.
space 301 camp
MSHS sophomore Ben Gorman attended Space 301 Camp in Houston this summer thanks in part to a $500 Student Enrichment Grant.
