FIRST-YEAR TEACHER STIPEND

For teachers who are new to the profession, the first day of class is extremely exciting, but it can also be very daunting, and making that first impression is very important.

We know how challenging it can be to decorate a classroom and make that first impression - especially with little or no money budgeted for a brand new classroom.

To help ease the transition into their first year of teaching, the Foundation provides each first-year teacher with a $100 stipend to help make their classroom special. So, when they open the door for the first time and welcome their first class of students, they can make it a little more special on their first day as a teacher.
